A Research Codex ~ Colophon

About TB-500 Pharmacy

Who keeps this codex, what it is, and the line between an editorial position and a clinical service.

What this project is

TB-500 Pharmacy is an independent editorial project that publishes summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on TB-500 and its parent protein, thymosin beta-4. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians and we do not provide medical advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science, set out as a solemn research codex.

The codex form is a choice, not a costume. TB-500's honest story asks for both reverence and exacting caution — a deeply studied parent protein with reproducible findings, and an isolated seven-residue fragment with no completed controlled human trial and an unresolved tumor and angiogenesis shadow. Setting each established finding as an inscription, and each caveat as a sealed marginal note, is how this site keeps the record honest.

On the word "pharmacy"

The modifier "pharmacy" in this site's name is editorial framing — a position this publisher occupies relative to the medicinal-access literature — not a claim about services we provide. There is no pharmacy here. We fill no prescriptions, stock no inventory, and offer no consultation. When the regulatory chapter reads the FDA 503A and compounding picture, it reads it as a canon of standing, citing the FDA, precisely because the access question is part of the public record this codex documents — and never because anything is dispensed on these pages.

What we do is read, summarize, and cite. Every quantitative claim on this site maps to a numbered source in the register. Where a finding belongs to full-length thymosin beta-4 rather than the TB-500 fragment, we say so. The distinction between the parent protein and its seven-residue fragment is the spine of the whole project.

How to read us

Treat this codex as a reading list of the evidence, organized by chapter. The research and anti-fibrotic chapters set the mechanism and the organ-level findings; the dosage chapter records what was administered to which species, never a human protocol; the legal-status chapter sets the FDA, compounding, and WADA standing. Nothing here is medical or legal advice, and nothing here is an offer to sell or supply any substance. If a claim is not in the literature, it is not in this codex.
